Definition
A rare embryonal malignant neoplasm with poor prognosis that arises within the fetal anterior pituitary and is associated with DICER1 mutations. Patients are in early childhood and present with symptoms of Cushing disease, including elevated blood ACTH levels and hypercortisolism. Ophthalmoplegia is frequently present.
