Definition
An exceedingly rare malignant neoplasm that arises from the female reproductive system and is characterized by the presence of malignant glandular (adenocarcinoma) and mesenchymal (sarcomatous) components and displays mesonephric differentiation. Some tumors are thought to derive from mesonephric duct (Wolffian duct) remnants. Others may have a Mullerian duct lineage.
