What this entity is

A rare skin lymphangiosarcoma that develops in patients affected by chronic (long-standing) lymphedema in the limbs. It has been described in breast cancer patients following mastectomy with axillary lymph node dissection and/or axillary radiation, patients with other malignancies, and patients with primary lymphedema or following lower extremity lymphadenectomy.
