Inclusion Criteria: * \- Age 18 years or older * Newly diagnosed colorectal cancer confirmed by histopathology (cases) * No previous surgery, chemotherapy, or radiotherapy for colorectal cancer * Healthy adults with no history of cancer or inflammatory bowel disease (controls) * Written informed consent Exclusion Criteria: * \- Previous malignancy * Previous chemotherapy or radiotherapy for colorectal cancer * Active infection * Autoimmune disease * Chronic liver disease * Chronic kidney disease * Pregnancy
