Colorectal carcinoma is a major bublic health problem. It is due to several genetic mutations. Wilms' tumor1 (WT1) gene is a tumor suppressor gene that has been mutated in several human tumors. Detection of WT1 in colorectal carcinoma may provide better future results.

- description
- 60 formalin fixed, paraffin embedded tissue blocks belonged to patients with colorectal cancer. sections will be obtained and stained immunohistochemically with anti WT1 antibody.

- detection of WT1 in colorectal adenocarcinoma and correlate its expression in tumor cells with certain parameters as patients ages, sexes, tumor grade, lymph node metastasis, lymphovascular invasion and perineural invasion.
