Oral squamous cell carcinoma is a major public health problem , especially in West Asian countries. Cyclin D1 accelerates cell cycle and thus may be implicated in uncontrolled cellular proliferation and tumor progression.

- detection of both intensity staining and tumor cells percentage of Cyckin D1 in studied cases of Oral Squamous Cell Carcinoma, and then relate intensity and percentage of Cyclin D1 with patients' ages, sexes, tumor grade, tumor site , lymphovascular invasion and perineural invasion.

Inclusion Criteria: * patients with oral squamous cell carcinoma. Exclusion Criteria: * patients with oral carcinoma other than squamous cell carcinoma. * patients who received pre-operative radiotherapy. * patients with inadequate clinical data.
