The goal of this retrospective observational study is to develop and internally evaluate a prognostic model for overall survival in patients with esophageal squamous cell carcinoma who received neoadjuvant chemoimmunotherapy followed by esophagectomy. Researchers will review existing clinical, pathologic, and follow-up data from 414 patients treated at three medical centers between 2019 and 2025. The study will assess whether routinely available clinicopathologic factors can provide prognostic information beyond postoperative pathologic staging.

- This cohort includes patients aged 18-80 years with histologically confirmed esophageal squamous cell carcinoma who received at least one cycle of neoadjuvant chemoimmunotherapy followed by esophagectomy. Patients were treated at three participating medical centers between 2019 and 2025.

- Overall survival is defined as the interval from the date of esophagectomy to death from any cause. Participants alive at last contact are censored on the date of last follow-up.
