Inclusion Criteria: * potentially resectable liver metastasis from colorectal cancer * portal embolisation required * older than 18 years old Exclusion Criteria: * synchronous surgery on the colon or the rectum * extra hepatic metastasis * history of hepatectomy * pregnancy or breastfeeding
