Inclusion Criteria: * left sided colonic and rectal tumors * eligible for elective laparoscopic surgery Exclusion Criteria: * Patients with intestinal obstruction or perforation. * patients with T4b tumors. * metastatic tumors * patients with multiple previous abdominal surgeries
